About PEC
History
Professional Engineers of Colorado was organized as a member State of the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1949.
Mission
The mission of the Professional Engineers of Colorado is to promote the ethical, competent and licensed practice of engineering, and to enhance the professional, social and economical well-being of its members.
Organization
The Society is a three tier organization consisting of local chapters organized into state and US Territorial societies collectively represented at the national level as the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Chapters
PEC is comprised of four local Chapters (Central, Northern, Southern, Pikes Peak) throughout the State of Colorado with approximately 700 members. Each Chapter organizes and conducts chapter meetings from September through May of each year. Chapter meetings feature guest speakers on topics relevant to the engineering community. Socializing, networking and education are key features of each meeting. An annual meeting of all chapters is held in early June.
Benefits of Membership
